Prior to moving to Marco Island in 1996, Joe specialized in resort sales in Ocean City, Maryland and the Quiet Delaware resort areas. Before his entrance into the real estate profession Joe was an entrepreneur in the construction industry and oversaw such projects as the complete rewiring of the White House at 1600 Pennsylvania under President Jimmy Carter.

Joe and his wife have ten grown children. In his free time, Joe enjoys fishing in the mangroves surrounding Marco Island and the Gulf and playing golf.
